MY STUFF WAS ON TV!

Woah!

As you probably know if you've gotten this far, I created Cartoon Network's Mighty Magiswords! More about that in this section, but also, OTHER THINGS!

THE ORIGINAL 3-MINUTE MIGHTY MAGISWORDS SHORTS

Mighty Magiwords started out as some micro-shorts for the CN Anything app produced concurrently with a series of 3-minute shorts. They were produced quickly with a small in-house crew of animators. I did the boards myself. It's not as flashy as the TV stuff, but it's got its own seat-of-our-pants charm!

MIGHTY MAGISWORDS THE TV SERIES

After producing a series of 5-minute shorts (later released on our Magimobile app) we were picked up for a full tv-series! I'm totally cheating and picking a season 2 episode to showcast here since those looked way cooler than season 1.

MIGHTY MAGISWORDS VLOGS

We produced a lot of ancillary content including the Vlogs! For the vlogs I'd ad lib at my computer desk (occasionally with other cast members), I'd edit it down to a minute, then the in-house animators would produce it using existing assets from the show!

Mighty Magiswords: Groundmouths (lost 5-minute episode)

A "lost episode" of Mighty Magiswords and one of my favorite boards I've ever done.

MOOBEARD THE COW PIRATE

Long before Mighty Magiswords, I produced the short "MooBeard the Cow Pirate" as part of Nickelodeon/Frederator's "Random! Cartoons" project! It was one of the first things I did for TV. While there are a million things I'd do differently now with my years of experience, I think it holds up surprisingly well!

RALPHY PANDA AND THE HALF-BAKED DITZ

I very hastily created this cartoon short to enter a contest. If I remember correctly, I got the deadline wrong. Regardless, this short aired on Comedy Central's "Atom TV"! Some people find the ending disturbing. These people are right.
